JSIA has grown to a very active Industry Association mainly bounded as follows.

Unique Feature

  • The association has been instrumental in encouraging the small entrepreneurs to maintain their dignity while running the industries.
  • The formation of our compact group began in 1980’s when there was threat from industrial promoting agencies and inspectors. Besides this the agitation for new state started and had its effect on small industries which made us closer to each other. Very few people know it, but our association visited and met central ministers, one of them is current Prime Minister for the formation of New State.
  • By early 1990 the association became like a family and any threat on one member was taken as attack on the family.
  • The bond became stronger.
  • The President and Secretaries or the office bearers of this association right from the beginning have never taken any advantage of their position. The members openly discuss the short comings or weaknesses of executive body like in a family all members sit together and discuss.
  • This differentiates us from any other similar organizations. The policy makers who sensed this strength, invited us and discussed the policies before it was framed.
